An adventurous play forest full of discovery – for children aged 0 to 12

The theme is based on the nature of the Veluwe and seamlessly connects with the world of children. They embark on a true journey of discovery through the forest, where learning, playing, and wonder go hand in hand. The playground is suitable for children aged 0 to 12 and is divided into different zones tailored to their age and developmental stage.

The play experience in phases:

• At the front, you'll find the baby nest – a calm, safe area specially designed for the very youngest. Here, babies and toddlers can play and explore at their own pace in a soft and clearly structured environment.
• In the central section is the badger’s den: a playful structure with crawl tunnels, soft nets, and climbing routes. This area is ideal for curious children who love to climb, scramble, and explore in a safe yet stimulating setting.
• At the back, the real adventure begins. There awaits the climbing and scrambling forest, with a lookout tower, treehouses, nets, slides, and bridges. Older children can let their imagination run wild, push their limits, and enjoy endless fun.

The natural design,

use of wood and other calming materials, and the playful layout create a complete experience that encourages children to move actively and learn about nature. The playground is part of the wider edutainment programme ‘Discover the Little Wonders’, where play and education are cleverly combined.

With a total indoor area of 180 m², this play space offers plenty of room for adventure, fun, and social interaction – all year round, regardless of the weather. A valuable addition to the experience at De Wildhoeve, where nature, comfort, and child-friendliness come together.
